Guest guest
Dear Members, Adiyen is visiting Divya Desams with a mission of completing atleast 100 Desams before end next year. So far, by the Grace of Sri Mahavishnu, I could complete 48 Desams. Recently I had been to some of the Chozha Nattu Tirupathikal. I am just sharing my experience with you, one a very pleasant one and one a bitter one. We had a wonderful Darshan at Therezhundur. The Bhattachar there was really knowledgeable and explained the stalapuranam and the pasurams sung at that temple etc. His name is Sri Kannan Bhattachar. He was chanting Sundara kandam when we visited the temple. He was also teaching it to a student. We were blessed to accept for one Silver Dollar on the Lord. When we came out of temple we had a wonderful feeling. This was just opposite at Pullamboothankudi temple. We visited the temple at 1000 hrs. The Bhattachar was at his house. We went and requested him to make darshan of Lord. He came. But the way he conducted the Aarthy was not to the liking of any Bhaktha. He didnot utter a word praising the Lord during Aarthy. He just showed the deepam. He did not bather to explain about the sthalam when we asked him to explain us. The condition of the temple was also not like what we saw in a nearby temple at Thiru AAdanoor where a very old Bhattachar did an excellent job. I would appeal to the members to take note of this and try to do some corrections jointly. The temple is maintained by Sri Ahobilaq Mutt. I would request the seer of Mutt to take some corrective action by making a surprise visit to the temple and knowing the situation themselves.
