The smile which is utlimate shoud have no equal. It is said that "irakkamEa upAyam and sirippEa upEyam" Lord's mercy is the means and Lord's happiness is the aim. Sri kulasEkara AzhwAr expressed this view in the pAsuram "chediyAya..valvinaigaL,," "padiyAik kidandhu vun pavaLa vAi kANbEanEa" The pavaLa vAi of the Lord is looked upon. The smile is eagerly awaited from His divine lips. The emanating smile reflects is happiness. Sri PeriyavAchan piLLai's vyAkyAnam " pArathanthriyathukku, achEthana samAdhiyum vEANum, adhu purushArthamAgaikkuk kANavum vEaNum" While achieivng the end -i.e.at the upEyam stage, one should be like achEthanam.
