Sri nam-AzhwAr advises us to reach and surrender to the Almighty in young age itself - kiLar oLi iLamai keduvadhan munnam. Sri thriumangai AzhwAr prescribes the same, as old age related diseases will strike us-- irundhangu iLayA mun. PeriyAzhwAr goes a step further and mentions that he spells out His thirunAmam now itself instead of at the final stage- appOAdhaikku ippOAdhEa solli vaithEan. Those who take Him as refuge, as the ultimate, as the relative, before engulfed by the final flames, ere being consummated to the fire shall survive the wrath of the accumulated sins, one carries.
