Q.194) You say that the human re-birth is almost

impossible. At the same time the path propagated by

your true knowledge is very very difficult to follow.

I am discouraged. Can you encourage me?

 

 

Ans.) Let me encourage you at the very out set itself

by stating that the Lord will encourage you by giving

infinite number of human re-births and also help you

in every human birth by providing the congenial

atmostphere, on one condition i.e., provided you are

always in the constant trial to travel in the

spiritual path, by putting up your best efforts

always. When you stop your spiritual efforts and your

efforts are always towards to the world, the Lord does

not sanction the human re-birth to you and

subsequently you will be thrown in to the cycle of

animals and birds. When a human being is limited to

food, drink, sleep etc and their blind bonds with the

issues only, the human being is not different from the

animal or bird in anyway. Thus, the Lord is justified

in such action. In such case there is no use of the

human birth at all. Therefore, you need not be

discuraged about the path or the goal. It is not

essential to acheive the goal in this human birth

itself. If you are in constant trail with full

sinceority till the last moment of this human birth,

that is sufficent. You should not be discouraged by

the failures. You should not stop your efforts. One

day or other, you will certainly succeed. Even in the

worldly efforts, success is seen by constant efforts.

In spiritual efforts, the help from the Lord is

additionally associated. This is stated in Gita

(Yatate cha tato bhuyah… ). The human re-birth is

negated as a general rule because most of the human

beings fall under this general rule. The special

devotee comes under the special exemption. If you are

under such special exemption, you need not worry about

the general rule. If you are in the constant trail,

you will reach the Lord even after several human

re-births as said in Gita (bahunam janmanam …).

However, early is better always. You can treat every

day as a fresh human birth and the sleep in every

night as death. In such case you will achieve the goal

in this birth it self. The Christians and Muslims are

the best in this point, who do not believe in the

human re-birth and become careful and alert. Hindus,

who believe in the human re-birth are neglecting the

spiritual efforts, postponing to the old age and then

to the next human birth. Hindus must know that the

human re-birth is only a special example and not the

general case. Even in Hinduism it is said that the

human birth is very rare (Nara Janma Durlabham).
