Guest guest
The Similarity between Oppliappan pAsurm in Thiru-voi-mozhi and Periya Thiru-Mozhi The contradictory attribute being present in the Lord was seen from the AchArya Hrdhayam sUthram and in EDu avathArigai for the thiru-voi-mozhi "nalguravum selvum" 6-3; Two contrasting attributes are seen in the Lord. One such instance in thirumozhi. vaN charaN surarkAi -asurarku ven-kURRAmumAi: The ultimate refuge for the dhEvAs but the terror for the demons. When the Lord churned the milky ocean, the nectar-amrudham was given to the dhEvAs but denied to the demons. When the thripuram was vanquished the asurAs were demolished but the dhEvAs were rescued. Both these events have been mentioned in the thirumozhi. 'aNNal seidhu alai kadal kadaindhu-adhanuL-viNNavar amudhuNa.." 6-1-2 of thirumozhi. and 'kuzhal niRa vaNNa, nin kURu koNDa, thazhal niRa vaNNa nannAr nagaram vizha, angu azhal niRa ambadhu AnavanEA" 6-1-3 of thiru-mozhi; The all pervasive Lord of contrasting elements is also narrated. 'pAr ezhu kadal ezhu malai ezhumAi sEr kezu ivvEzhu vulagamellAm:" 6-1-6; 'kAr kezhu kadalgaLum malaigaLumAi yEarkezhu vulagamumAgi,mudhalArgaLum aRi varum iyalvinanAi, sEr kezhu nAn maRaiyAnavanEA' 6-1-7; And so on and so forth (to be continued) vanamamalai padmanabhan
