Guest guest
vunakkAgith thoNDu paTTa nallEAnai- vinaigaL naliyAmai It is said the daily rituals if not done will push one into sins and if done, will not yield any fruits. Does this apply to SrEvaishNavites who are involved in em-perumAn's kainkaryam.? The thiruppAvai 12th pAsuram "kaNaithiLam kaRRerumai-kaNRukkirangi" the cow feeds its calf itself. It was not milked by its caretaker. However, the concerned person is named as 'naR-chelvan'. This is because, he was always beside Lord krshNA. Once, Sri bhaTTar and other srEvaishNavties were all assembled during azhagia maNavALan's vEATTaith thirunAL near the riverbed. Everybody were happily devouring the beaty of nam-perumAL and reciting srEsUkthi-s. However, as the eventide sets, some persons came and declared that evening has set in and it was time for rituals. Sri bhaTTAr told that " Even if there is a delay in performing these rituals, for those who are engrossed in His service and beauty, will these failures be counted as sins?' (refer EDu -thiru-voi-mozhi 10-2-kEdim-idar) Sri thirumangai AzhwAr voices this in this pAsuram 'vunakkAGitth thoNDu paTTA nallEanai, vinaigaL naliyAmai nambu, nambE!" 6-3-9; Those who are His devotees need not worry about sins sourrounding them. dAsan vanamamalai padmanabhan
