hai, i had a doubt about our births.if u can able 2

clear my doubt please,u said our birth will b decided

by our karmas,a man who born as a brhamin did u say it

is a good one or bad? i didnt think it as a bad one,

but some of those are having a bad character,bad

habbits? but they are a brahamin by birth what do u

think about this?

Very Interesting Question. My thoughts are:

 

1. We take birth according to our Karma. Even in Bhagavat Gita Krishna tells

rajasi pralayam gatva karma-sangisu jayate tatha pralinas tamasi mudha-yonisu jayate

When one dies in the mode of passion, he takes birth among those engaged in

fruitive activities; and when one dies in the mode of ignorance, he takes birth

in the animal kingdom.

 

utkramantam sthitam vapi bhunjanam va gunanvitam vimudha nanupasyanti pasyantijnana-caksusah

 

The foolish cannot understand how a living entity can quit his body, nor can

they understand what sort of body he enjoys under the spell of the modes of

nature. But one whose eyes are trained in knowledge can see all this.

 

dhumenavriyate vahnir yathadarso malena ca yatholbenavrto garbhas tatha tenedam avrtam

 

As fire is covered by smoke, as a mirror is covered by dust, or as the embryo is

covered by the womb, the living entity is similarly covered by different degrees

of this lust.

 

So, when we take a birth as Brahmin, based on our previous vaasana, we attain

the human body in particular place and race. This can't be neither termed as

good or bad. But due to ignorance and Lust, if we behave like a " Chandaala"

with brahmin body, we detoriate our own self. This is like born in Wealthy

family and unable to understand how the wealth has been created and what is the

purpose to be there?

 

Krishna Talks about Conciousness follows and it enjoyes its wishes with different sensual bodies.

 

For example, if one person who strongly thinks that If I am a brahmin, I will do

the exact opposite to what the scriptures say and see what will happen? When he

dies this conciousness gives the birth of brahmin body, but his strong vaasanas

will make him behave badly. So every thing is to experiment and learn through

experience. Desires are the tool for selecting the particluar body.

 

As Sri Krishna puts, Wise person will think twice why he is born in this

stutaion and what is his purpose through that life? He will attain the self

knowledge.

 

A Brahmin who is proud of his birth also deluded by Bhagavan's MAYA. Self pride

and lust are the worst enimies which ties us with this world and seperate from

GOD.
