The world is replete with full of religions and faiths running contrary to vEdhic tenets. The jEvAthmA who is already embroiled in materialistic pursuits is likely to get further confused and toe these paths leading to destruction. These ways not only lead to self destruction but also results in deeming the AtmA as one's own-kaLLam "Do not get into this maze. Get out this untrue ways and fall at the feet of SiRupuliyUr Lord' is the prescription by Thirumangai mannan and he does this by demonstrating himself. This is seen in the ninth thirumozhi of the seventh ten 'kaLLam manam viLLum vagai karudhik kazhal thozhuvEr...' 7-9-1 ; Let the soul be His. Let not one cheat on this.Fall at His feet. The thoNdA nAdu boasts of a sayanam -sthala sayanam -The Almighty reclining on the ground -Thirukkadal mallai. The pANdiya nADu prides on a sayanam-dharba sayanam -The Lord reclining on dharbam-dharba-sayanam- ThiruppullANi. Here in the ChOzha nADu the Lord reclines on salam and that is sala-sayanam -SiRu puliyUr sala sayanm. a.salam-water-The EmperumAn who reclines on the ocean-jala-sayanam is here. b.salam-mAyai.mAyap padukkai i.e Feigning sleep. This is bAla sayanam.vyakrapadha maharishikku bAla-sayanamAga prathyaksham. ThirupAdhiripuliyUr is thiruvahindhirapuram;kuTTanATTuth thriuppuliyUr is malai nADu. This is SiRu puliyUr of chOzha dhEsam. The Lord with immense grace showers it. He is the ocean of Grace. Go and Surrender unto Him prescribes Sri Kaliyan and falls at His feet.
