Guest guest
Rameswaram is only an ABHIMANASTHALAM, like Guruvayoor, Madurantakam. The only aspect for visiting Rameswaram by Vaishnavites is as the lingam established there was by Shri Ramachandramoorthy Himself. I don't think there is any other valid reasons for visiting Rameswaram. However, such a story is heard from tulasi das's 'ram charita mAnasa'. I also heard many SrI vaishNava authorities rejecting that version. I request some learned vaishNavas shed more light on this. dAsOham, SrIperumbUdUru vEnkaTa vinOd. Guest guest
This has been emphasized and written elaborately by Sri U Ve S Krsihsnaswamy Iyengar, SUDARSANAR, Editor, Sri Vaishnava Sudarsanam. Puthur Agraharam, Trichy., who is the only great personality available today, in the universe for objecting all such Srivaishnava criticism, Anti Srivaishnava Propaganda etc., Anybody who read his magazine or his publications, will not get such doubts at all. It is verymuch right that the story that Sri Rama Built Rameswaram Alayam is totally false and unacceptable. Sri Rama had given Moksham to Maharaja (Jadayu), Sabhari etc., for whom it is not necessary to do any praychittam. Ramanujarya Divyaghnya Varthadam Abhivarthadam. Sri Ramanuja Dasan, R.
