I would like to know the fasting procedure during the Margazhi Month. Please let

me know all this..., how to fast, when to start to fast, when to end fast, how

long to fast, how many meals a day do we skip for fasting, how to start to eat

after fasting, what are the foods allowed to eat after fasting, and all about

the fasting during this month.

Hi,

Please do not think that I am discouraging you by

saying the below. I just want you all to inform the

speciality of our Vishnava Sampradayam

 

In our Vishnava Sampradayam, the best thing is that

you dont need to do any thing special. The best way to

get to the feet of Krishna is to Think of him every

moment or Chant his name or any slokas or listen to

any tapes which talks about him.

 

This is the best way to attain Sriman Narayana.

 

So In the month of marhazhi you can read Thirupaavai

and also listen to the meaning of each sloka.
