Divya desams in Kerala state

----------------------------

We recently visited the following divya desams in kerala

1. Tiruvanantapuram --it is easy visit from trivandrum city

as it is within the city

the best time to visit is 6.30 am to 7 am in the morning. then the

temple

is open to public only after 9 am

The following temples should be visited from Kottayam

we stayed in Hotel sakthi,in the main town area

and close to Hotel Aaryas --A hotel owned by

tirunelveli Tamilian --where you can get good

vegetarian food --as only - vegetarian good food is difficult to get

we went by tourist taxi in the morning around 4 am and visited all the

temples and returned by lunch time.it is better to go early in kerala as

temples open at 5am .

[you need to negotiate the rates and also ask him if he had alreaady

gone to these temples before as there wont be any time if the taxi

driver loses his way you wont be able to reach in time the temples

closes early by 11 am in both the places in kottayam and trichur]

1. Tiruvallavaazh

2. Tirukkadittaanam

3. Tiruchenkunroor

4. Tiruppuliyur

5. Tiruvaaranvilai

6. Tiruvanvandur .

The following temples needs to be visited from Trichur

temples 1 and 2 are in Alwaye side and a good 75 km run by taxi

we went around 4pm and reached 5pm and after finishing 1 we drove

another 25 miles to temple 2and reached by 6.45 pm and returned Trichur

by 9pm[to and fro distance is 145 kms]

1 Tirukkatkarai

2 Tirumoozhikkalam

we went next day early morning 5am and drove towards Tirur/calicut route

for the following temples.the to and fro ditance is 144 km

we returned by lunch time after darshan

3. Tirunaavai

4. Tiruvithuvakkodu

In trichur 1 and 2 divya deams are in one direction and 3 and 4 are in

different direction you have to go and come back and go in diff way like

the shape of 'Y'. so it is better to go two times as the temples closes

early by 10.30 in the morning.

Important : While in trichur you can also visit guruvayoor

which is about 35 km by bus and plenty of buses are available
