Guest guest
Not a coincidence vadivazhagia Nambi The thoughts of Swami Nam-Azhwar and that of Kaliyan run in tandem. This is no concidence but the fact that reierates that Thirumangai Mannan toes the line of mARan. Here is a thought from Kaliyan which exactly matches with that of Sri Nam-AzhwAr specially in the context of ThriukkuRunkudi. One of the pAsuram-s dedicated to the Nambi is: ...vallana solli magizhvarEalum mA-maNi vaNNarai nAm maRavOam' 9-5-6 of Periya ThiruMozhi. Though the public spat at Azhwar rejoicing by insulting her, parakAla nAyaki thinks How can she forget Him? Is the beauty -the complete beauty - so incomplete to make her forget Him? Impossible. The same thoughts from ThiruVAiMozhi and EDu. Going by the unforgettable nature: First full-fledged thiru-voi-mozhi-p pAsuram dedicated to thirukkuRungudi: the end of the first ten of thiru-voi-mozhi witnessed AzhwAr exclaiming on what grounds can he forget nambi? Can he forget because He is incomplete- no He is paripUrNan. Can be forget Him because He is not superior- NO. Can he forget as He is not pretty- no He is full of beauty. The Edu is wonderful in this regard. en solli maRappanO? "nambiyai then kuRungudi ninRa achchemponEa thigazhum thirumUrhthiyai, vumbar vAnavar Adhiam jOdhiyai, em-pirAnai en solli maRappanO!?" 1-10-9 of thiru-voi-mozhi. apUrNan enRu maRakkavO? asannihidhan enRu maRakkavO? vadivazhagu illai enRu maRakkavO? mEanmai illai enRu maRavkkavO? enakku upakAran illai enRu maRakkavO? The Complet Lord, who is near, with full of beauty and splendour and Supremacy and always willing to resuce us? and that is ThirukkuRunkuDi Nambi. dAsan vanamamalai padmanbhan (to be continued) vanamamalai padmanabhan
