PRIORITIES FOR ACTION

 

The fundamental action point of agenda of managment subject is 'Priorities for Action'.

 

The action to be taken is set out. However, what is done first and what is later

is decided according to the importance of urgency and the implications.

 

There are two things that a prapannan is expect to do. Get away from

mundane-worldly aspects and two surrender unto the feet of the Lord.

 

Though the action is supposed to be done simultaneously, AzvAr opines that the

shedding of unwanted worldly aspects is to precede.

 

Sri KrhsNA also put this first 'sarva-dharmAn parithyajya -mAm yEAkam saraNam

vrja' -Leave all the dharmAs and surrender unto Me fully - is the prescription

of charama slOkam.

 

Svami Nam-AzhvAr also speaks in the same tone

'vEDu min muRRavum -vEDu seidhu -vum vuyir vEdudayAn idai vEdu seimminEA" 1-2-1 of ThriuvAiMozhi.

 

Leave off everything and put your soul unto His feet.

 

Thriumangai Mannan who realises thus that leaving off of he worldly pleasures is

of utmost priority sets the tone

 

in the first pAsuram of ThriumAl irum sOlai ThriuMozhi 9-8;

 

First leave off the worldy pleasures -Worship the Lord of azhagar kOil.

 

 

That is the Priorities for Action
