I have some doubts 1) I have heard that if you commit Bhagvata Abacharam ,"The Pranthaman" will send you to the naragam rather than the Vaikuntam. Is it true? 2) There are some types of prapannans: i) who has all the education like vedam, divya prapandam, sastram, dayasathakam, bhasyam,.............. ii) who don't know anything iii) who know something about the above Having said the case then how it is possible or justified that all the prapannans will go to Vaikundam because there are also people who doesn't know anything. 3) After we go to the vaikuntam can we see the two left divya desam (thiruparkadal, paramapadanathan) 4) After we go to the vaikuntam can we see all the avatars of the almighty ie. krishna vatar,... because I have a desire to see the scene of that Emperuman delivering his Gita to the Arjunan 5) If all the prapannans will go to the vaikuntam then why should we perform the tharpanams, the sarthams,.... all those things because any how they will be enjoying themselves in the vaikundam isin't? 6) I have heard that Bhismar will go to all the logams before he finally reaches the vaikundam is it true? is it a boon or curse? sarvam sri krishnarpanam asthu:
Guest guest
Dear Swamin, >> 1) I have heard that if you commit Bhagvata Abacharam ,"The Pranthaman" will send you to the naragam rather than the Vaikuntam. Is it true?<< There is nothing like that said in the prasthaana thrayams (Upanishad, Brahma sutra, and Bhagavadgita). These are our primary texts on the fundamental principles of sanatha dharmam. >>2) There are some types of prapannans: i) who has all the education like vedam, divya prapandam, sastram, dayasathakam, bhasyam,.............. ii) who don't know anything iii) who know something about the above Having said the case then how it is possible or justified that all the prapannans will go to Vaikundam because there are also people who doesn't know anything.<< Realization is the key. Simplest form of which is total surrender. Rest are all details. If one room is dark for a zillion years and the other for a zillionth of a second, both get illuminated at the same time, once you flip the switch! A person who has thorough knowldege of destination and booked an airline ticket 6 years in advance as well as a person who just boarded in the last second, with limited knowledge of the destination - both arrive at the same time! There is no pankti bedham in moksham. All those bedhams are for alpa buddhayas (people of limited wisdom)!>>3) After we go to the vaikuntam can we see the two left divya desam(thiruparkadal, paramapadanathan) << Is it necessary? Does it matter? Once we have merged with the almighty? (In moksham there is no dvaitam, advaitam or anything in-between. It is all of them- just the way it is intended in our scriptures)>>4) After we go to the vaikuntam can we see all the avatars of the almighty ie. krishna vatar,... because I have a desire to see the scene of that Emperuman delivering his Gita to the Arjunan<< VaikunTam is perhaps not some sort of a museum, where all the past instances that were used to inform and motivate us to become mumukshus are curated! As the Lord says in the Gita: Sun, moon or fire doesn't glow there. Once entered there is no return- such is My abode (na tadbhAsayate sUryo na shashAnko na pAvakah| YadgatvA na nivartante taddhama paramam mama||). It is hard to attract a novice to such a place, that is why our Acharyas, Alwars and scriptures have varied and elaborate discriptions. Those are only to attract someone to get interested in moksham. For a prapanna it is immaterial. >>5) If all the prapannans will go to the vaikuntam then why should we perform the tharpanams, the sarthams,.... all those things because any how they will be enjoying themselves in the vaikundam isin't?<< It might have worked at some time. However, as far as we are concerned, those are performed more as duty and tradition. Just like we offer arghyam to suryanaarayaNan thrice a day (not that He will fall and not be relieved from mandehaas if we don't). Just remember, it is man (our own mind) and deha(our body) which clutter our inner SuryaNarayanan. Arjuna had a similar question in chapter 1 of Gita (patanti pitarohyeSHAm lupta pinDodaka kriyAh). Lord brushed it aside as: ashochyA nanva shochatvam.. as well as in "yAnti deva vratA devan pitREn yAnti pitRe vratAh...)>>6) I have heard that Bhismar will go to all the logams before he finally reaches the vaikundam is it true? is it a boon or curse?<< Bhishmar might have been taken to different lokams, as he wanted to take a harder path. He was too much bent on fulfilling his vow, eventhough the person responsible for it (Satyavati) wanted him to let go that and marry for the sake of propogation. He also did not stop excesses by kauravas- eventhough he had the ability to do so. Most of us neither have that resolve nor strength- so the Lord has shown us a very simple path. However, we try to be like Bhishmar by complicating the simple and ready message of our Lord in Gita with our ego and scholarship. Thus we ever dwell in curiosity, ahankaaram, panktibedhams, samshayams, competetion- basically we apply similar principles to moksham as we to other affairs of the world. dAsan K.S. tAtAchAr narasimhan12345 <narasimhan12345 >Sent: Thu, 09 Mar 2006 11:21:25 -0000 Doubt sri ramanujaya nama: sri nigamantha mahadesikaya nama: Acharyan thiruvadigale saranam: Dear swamin, Ihave performed prapatti thro the blessings of sri lakshmi nrishma and sri H.H. 45th jeer.
