Guest guest
kaDAvuL A glance at the tamil-nigaNDu throws out several meanings for the term -'kaDavuL' .Greatness (mEAnmai), dheivathanmai (divinity), iRaivan (God) dheivam(God) are a few. AzvAr-s have used this term sparingly and perhaps that adds value to this. 'kadavULEA kAvaLan thaN pAdiyAi ' -Thirumangai AzvAr emotionally calls upon ThirukkAvaLampADi EmperumAn Periya ThiruMozhi 4-6-5; NAm AzvAr in his ThriuvAsiriyam-6 declares Sriman NArAyaNA as 'mudhal perum kaDavuL' The prime Great LOrd and 'mUvulagum padiath mAyak kaDavuL'ThriuvAsiriyam 4; Here, this unique term is used again by Kaliyan to none other than the Lord of ThriumAl irumsOlai 'Para-svAmi' perhaps transliterating this 'sudar muDik kadavuL tham kOil' 9-8-2;- dAsan vanamamalai padmanabhan
