This way, we harness the following benefits in our groups: Heavy broadcast of messages are avoided. does not store attachments/pictures in its archive. So the message is rendered meaningless without the picture. The other solution, if the moderator/owner permits, is to use the 'Storage' section of the group but this is restricted to 20 MB and hence care has to be taken for periodic reclamation and maintanence of the same. I think, some free hosting can be used for this purpose.
