Guest guest
I don't want to be a nag, and I realize that this list was intended to be more "freewheeling" and populist than the original INDOLOGY, but does this type of message *really* belong on an "Academic List for the discussion of classical India. . .Designed as a forum for discussions between working scholars and others with a serious interest in the field of classical Indian studies." I fail to see how this information (though interesting in its own right) is related to "classical Indian studies" in any meaningful way. A public list does not necessarily mean a "random" list. May I suggest that those who are interested in this list continuing to be a valuable resource (and not being abandoned en masse by Indological scholars) should give equal care to their postings here as they did on the previous INDOLOGY list.
