(1) Kanchendzonga

 

Perhaps this *is* its Sanskrit name? Kaañcana-janghaa [dot over last n],

"having golden shanks"?

 

(2) Svaamin

 

sva (with lengthened vowel) + min, possessive suffix. sva = "one's own

[things]" hence "property". So svaamin originally = "property owner", hence

"master".
