Guest guest
Dear Dominik, 1) Would it be possible to change the setup of the List a little bit and ask the program to identify the Indology List's messages not by "[indology @ ]", but by something much shorter, like "[ind@Y]", or just - "[ind]"? Since the line my Eudora reserves for the subject of received messages is being mercilessly cluttered (what with all those added REs and SVs!), I would greatly appreciate the change. Dear Listmembers, 2) Would it be too much to ask the participants to identify themselves? By name, country, link to academic or other institutions? I personally have problem with receiving anonymous messages, such as from vij. With regards, Artur Karp University of Warsaw Poland
Guest guest
Dear Artur, I've changed the message byline to a shorter string, Y-indology. Hope that helps. don't want to make it too cryptic. As for abbreviations, I think does suppress email addresses if you look at the messages on the web, without signining in first. Maybe that's the problem? Or perhaps you mean that a plain email address by itself isn't sufficient identification. Best, Dominik
