Guest guest
There was a discussion some time ago on this list about people's capacity for memorization today vs. ancient times. Last night I attended a performance by Eric Bergosian. He was alone on stage speaking rapidly (400+ words a minute?) for over 90 minutes (36,000+ words?). It was all carefully scripted material and not improvisational. And I think the duration of the performance was determined by his energy expenditure, amount of thematically related material available, audience's attention span, etc., and not his memory capacity. All the best, Brian -------------------- BrianDanaAkers.com sfauthor
