Guest guest
It depends on your email program. If you use Microsoft Outlook Express which comes with Microsoft Internet Explorer (a once and future part of Windows), you can create "message rules" that sort messages into folders as they arrive. For example, if you wanted to exclude my messages, you would create a rule that looks for my name as the sender and deletes the message or (better) moves it to a Spam folder so that you can double-check the message before it is actually deleted. Outlook Express permits rules that key off of the sender's name, specific words in the subject, and so on. It sorts my messages into folders corresponding to each list or sender and sends (most ) spam to the spam folder. Thus, messages on "troutfishing" or from "o.b.noxious" could be deleted or re-routed as you wish. Most email programs these days have some such mechanism. I find the rules do not always work or work perfectly, but they are a vast improvement over no sorting.
