Checkout.. http://www1.shore.net/~india/ejvs/issue2/index.html#internet Scroll down to "Conference on Dowry and Bride Burning, planned for early October 1995, at Harvard." How about organizing a 2002 Chennai conference on western child sex abuse? Let us put up a proposal. More innocent and helpless children are abused and they take to pills in the west (several in my neighbrohood), due to divorces and abandonment, and most are unrecorded; than the notorious arranged marriage system of India which only abuses "adult females" who can decide things for themselves in most situations; whereas the abused children don't even know what is happening to them or their rights, let alone talk about it.
