Hello,

 

I am looking for a good English rendition of two expressions in Skt.

commentatorial style:

 

ity arthah = such is the meaning ??

ity anvayah = such is the (logical) connection ??

 

Any other suggestions?

anvaya may also mean syntax (as distinct from artha, semantic)?
