Guest guest
I have just spent an hour or so going round in circles with the groups system endeavouring to reset my Indology preferences to digest form, and wondered if anyone had any advice. As far as I can tell, when I returned the message inviting me to join the Indology group, this set up a ID for me, but it failed to tell me what it was. At any rate, when I got on to , set up a ID and then attempted to "join" Indology, I was prompted for my e-mail address, then told that "that account has already been linked to a ID. If you have another email address registered with us, you can use that address instead". When I tried to use the alternate e-mail addresses I had registered with my ID, I was told that my password was wrong. I tried editing my preferences and various other devices but continue to go around in circles without making any headway. Any suggestions? The help pages I've been to don't seem to help at all, they just return me to the same unproductive loops. Guest guest
Whenever it says password invalid, there will also be an option on that screen which says something like "Forgot password?". If you click on it, it will say something like new pass word being sent to your email-id (please don't ask me which one! it will be one of your -IDs). You need to open a new web browser window (file-new on explorer), logon to your -IDs and check the mails after 10 minutes; and when you get the password, get back to old browser window and enter the password. This password may not be too important to remember. creates a temporary password for linking accounts together. I hope it works Regards Bhadraiah
