Guest guest
Dear List, I'm reading Pulavar irA. iLaGkumaran2, pANar, maNivAcakar patippakam, 1987. On page 119, the author gives a CT passage: pulaimakan2 AtaliR poynnin2 vAymozi nillal pANa cellin2ip pariyal As is rather a routine practice with Tamil books, the author does not give any hint to where the quote belongs to. I suspect this belongs to a late CT period, and may be given in some TolkAppiyam commentary, or in grammars on Tamil (=akam) poetics. This quote is given along with TolkAppiyam sUtrams and several sangam texts' quotations. Thanks for your help in tracking down the source of this CT poem, N.
