Many details on this (futile) question in my forthcoming paper in EJVS

7-3, due now in a few days. Will anncounce it.

 

 

Short answer: it would be between max. c. 2000 BCE (chariot invention) and

min. 835 BCE (Assyrian inscr. mentioning the 27 Pars'uwas' = Persian

tribes)...

 

Of course, as EJVS 7-3 will amply show, no Old Iranians moved Out of India...
