I hope that Prof Witzel would point out

how he has been able to differentiate between IE pottery

and non-IE pottery ?

I presume he meant 'words related to pottery' since his teacher at

Erlangen, Dr. Hoffman once said "pots do not speak" while taking a

pot-shot at the archaeologists.

 

However, it appears that genes do speak, since people are talking of

euro-genes now. This makes some brown-sahibs into white-sahibs :-)
