Guest guest
Dear Dr. Agarwal: >However, it appears that genes do speak, since people are talking of >euro-genes now. This makes some brown-sahibs into white-sahibs :-) This message sounds close to a racial slur. Can you desist? Guest guest
QUESTION: Suppose phenotypes (such as skin color) are replaced by genotype categories to characterize people. Under this new 'scientifically correct' terminology, they wont be called 'races' but something else with equivalent effect. Will that make it ethically and politically correct to prejudice based on genotypes while it would be considered racism to be prejudiced based on phenotypes? Future personal ads might not say 'single white males seeks....". They might say 'male with 91% Aryan genes seeks...."
