THRASHER LEAVE PLANS AND FILLING IN

 

>From June 3 through July 2 I will be in Rome at the Hotel Domus

>From July 9 to July 13 I will be in Rome at the Hotel Alexandra, via

Veneto 18, tel. (39) 06-488-1943, fax (06) 487-1804.

 

>From July 13 to July 18 I will be in Naples at the Hotel Majestic,

Largo Vasto A Chiaia 68, tel. (39) 081-416-500, fax (39) 081-416-500.

 

I will be back at work at the Library, God willing, on July 19.

 

I will be checking my LC account every few days if possible. It

might be good to carbon my account,

 

 

June 1-22 Shantha Murthy in the Serial Record Division (

202-707-2566) will help out with reference questions that cannot be

handled by whoever is at the Asian Reading Room reference desk.

June 25-July 19 this will be done by Ameen Yousufzai in

Southeast/South Asia Team of cataloging ( 202-707-7467).

Mohan Gadre, who is on contract cataloging after his retirement, will

be volunteering at the Asian Reading Room reference desk every Tuesday

from 10:30 to 12:30 and when he is in Cataloging will be willing to

help if he is in ( 202-707-2823).

Satish Bindra, Technician (sbin, 202-707-3765) can assist

with questions such as whether a book or a serial volume is in the

collections.
