Beginning of Kaliyuga

Just out of curiosity - Recently I read that the beginning of

"Kaliyuga" (again I am sure about the accuracy, but probably around

3000BC ?), could be related to the occurrence of biblical flood in

some way. How well investigated is this? (Comments??)

 

As for the OIT theory - Can someone let me know of the major

objections which experts have come up with? what about the theory that

the Saraswati dried along with major climatic changes, causing a major

migration westwards?
