Guest guest
Professor Witzel's recommendation is apparently waived if the person not knowing Sanskrit has published in the Leftist magazine called Frontline. Plus have the work endorsed by Leftist Historian Romila Thapar. You must be aware that Mr. Steve Farmer was recently invited to speak on the 'Textual layering, dates of the Vedic Texts' at Harvard Round-table recently! This should rather encourage people without knowledge of any Indian language to study Indian culture with great enthusiasm and wax eloquent on India's past and present, on Indian history and politics, on Humanistic as well as Scientific/Engineering studies in India. And in that conference,George Thompson- the Crusader against Hindu fanaticism, was another speaker of course. See http://www.fas.harvard.edu/~sanskrit/RoundTableSchedule.html Maybe next year someone will give a talk at Harvard on "What to do with the Anaryas with no Bamshad Euro-gene?" It would also be interesting to see how many 'kalpas' it will take for the publication of the proceedings.
