Guest guest
Dear list members, 1) The KSTS edition of the tantrasAra has quite a few cases where the rules of sandhi are not applied. Such as sometimes leaving final hard consonents unchanged even if before a vowel or soft consonent etc. Is this from the actual usage in the manuscripts or is it from the editors of the edition. 2) I have some notes from a modern Pandit where he mentions some cases where he thinks that copiest errors have crept in. Was the KSTS edition based on a small number of manuscripts and have additional manuscript materials come to light since it was published? Was Gnoli's translation based on the KSTS edition alone? 3) Is there a list of errata to the KSTS edition somewhere. I'm working with a photocopy of only the first 50 pages so I don't even know if there is such a list in the back of the book. Many thanks, Harry Spier 371 Brickman Rd.
