just a curious note.

i have seen mainly non-indian(s) calling names and using fanatic

hindus etc and all other array of choice phrases which caused the

temprature rise.

and i have seen mostly non-indian(s) now trying to calm or shut those

who are trying to get a retraction from the first party (of accuse

hurlers)

but i have not seen anyone come out and say from this group of

non-indian(s) that such name calling is indeed bad as a genral

address. even because of hitler every german is not called by the fu-

word, then come on, on what basis can you call an almost a billion of

people, following the most acepting of faiths, the fu- word? those

who

are trying to put out the 'fire' are not getting one thing.

it is so easy for me to associate your female relatives with choice

professions. you get angry and scream and grab my throat. then i call

for restraint.

how would you like that?

and here 'you' is the general reader, not anyone in person.

you should realise that veda, india and hindu is like a mother to

most

aware indians. no political tone here. those who throw stones of

'caste', 'sati', etc and then go on to degrade everything indian are

being targetd by the aware hindu/indian. whether they come in garbs

of

indologists or communist politicians or dalit opportunists.

while on one hand, the positive thinker gets bashed for having a

nationilist color, the negative thinker is not treated the same way.

those who even think of hitler and hindutva in the same vain have no

idea what is real india today or what it was in any time in the past.

would these same people i believe will burn a hindu alive for wearing

a swastika or drawing one in front of his/her house?? it was the

bastard hitler who misused certain indian ideas and he alone is to be

blamed for it.

india :

* has the second largest muslim population in the world.

* has the most variety of christians

* had christians even before they settled in europe or elsewhere.

* tolerated buddha. YES.

* tolerates communism, which even usa persecuted them with glee

and fanfare!

* tolerates anyone who slings mud at hindus or hindutva or

bhaarat or its culture, literature or religion.

* bans anti-minority truths but tolerates anti-majority falsehoods

* has never ever had hate wars.

anyone remember the crusades, 100 year war,

inquisitions, spaniards, fatwah, papal bulls?

there is no equivalance to these in hinduism, hindutva,

bhaarat, sanaatan dharma.

the recent onslaught in the garb of hindus intolerant to minorites

(aka missionaries and muslims) is another topic. but show me

another religion that lays stress on your quality rather than leader

to be accepted. for those who don't get drift, to be a christian

according to bible, i have not to be good, truthful etc etc but never

believe or bow to another god and think christ is only saviour. is

thatnot censorship of thought and dictatorship? same true for islam.

but jesus or allah or mohhamad are merely another icon in hinduism

vast array of formful gods. there is full freedom to choose how ot

practise your faith (in divinity).

don't throw that caste stone again. it has been accpeted already to

not accosiated by birth, it is even illegal and it will take time for

people living and dying in a small village to get over it. you can't

keep calling the entire nation and its population fu- word based on

such incidents.

so those who try to preach decency to indians, please see under what

circumstance is an indian losing temper. if you help that person's

true cause, you will solve the temper problem easier. just clammering

your degrees and list A and list B and censorship is just being

kuupa-maduuKa (a frog in the well).

those who have learned, read, studied sanskrit should accept one fact

for sure. it is in the blood of any averagely educated bhaaratiya to

argue, not give up, have passion in the statements, AND be good at

word play. it is not a western/european/american/australian

prerogative to use sarcasm like some have been (good bye with

sarcasm,

well wishes with sarcasm).

all these guys are simply enjoying the fire (while claiming to detest

it), and there is no dearth of indians to help them enjoy this fire.

the true scholar will simply have to skip these articles.

regards,

shashikant
