Postings which do not seem aimed to advance research on Indological topics will not be allowed. Further, those who transgress obvious standards of civility and professional conduct will be banned from the list forthwith. 2) Due to the rather unfortunate developments on this list in the last few days (e.g. a mass exodus of members unsubscribing), I am declaring (what in American parenting circles is called) a "time out." No postings will be allowed for (roughly) the next 24 hours. Please take the time to "cool off" and reflect on the meaning and purpose of this list; let bygones be bygones and try to come back with a renewed sense of commitment to working together to help each other learn more about classical Indian culture.
