Guest guest
Earth was formed around the 4500 million years ago (Ma) but the plate tectonics started only around 2800 Ma. From the onset of plate tectonics to the present, there were a total of six complete supercontinent cycles formed on this planet and the present is the seventh cycle. A global deluge occurs in the begining of each supercontinent cycle. With the available data and further research I have concluded that these supercontinent cycles are nothing but the Manvantara cycles. I thought that this is relevant to the Indology, because the yugas has some relevance to this field and the Manvantara cycles are a combination of these yugas. General notion of these yugas and the Manvantara cycles is that they are part of an arbitrary cycle. Details of the hypothesis can be found at: http://www.geocities.com/karunakarm/press062501.html Regards Karunakar M
