Guest guest Posted July 13, 2001 Report Share Posted July 13, 2001 Dear Netters, The Cologne Sanskrit Digital Lexicon returned the following when I searched for Dhola: Entry Dhola Meaning m. a large drum , Rudraj. We had a discussion on drums not long ago on this group. The word 'dhol' was mostly traced to Middle Indic. Can anyone please tell me what the abbreviation Rudraj. could mean, and when this Sanskrit work was composed?
