The book correlates the Vedas and Puranas, kings and rishis, history

and geography, and also brings out a new theory of language dissemination. It

emphasizes the Rig Veda as the basis of the Bharata nation, with

connections east and south in India as well as north and west into Afghanistan.

While having much in common with Talageri's approach, it differs in some

respects, bringing Vedic culture more into the greater Indian context.
