Guest guest
We find in Naagaarjuna's Mulamaadhyamaka Kaarikaa a verse which Jay Garfield in his, "The fundamental wisdom of the middle way", has translated as "the wise one does not act". I would be grateful if scholars could provide me two pieces of information : 1. Alternative translation(s) for the same verse from other translation(s) of the Mulamaadhyamaka Kaarikaa and 2. Quotes from other Buddhist works (both the Hinayaana and the Mahaayaana) which also enjoins inaction/silence either as a sign of wisdom or even as a valid path (saadhana). Advance thanks for any information/pointers.
