South Asia: Cultural/Media/Performance Studies

 

The University of Pennsylvania seeks to appoint an Assistant Professor

in contemporary South Asian cultures with emphasis on media, cinema

or performance studies. Candidates will be expected to show mastery

of at least one South Asian language, superior research and teaching

skills, and keen interest in interdisciplinary, undergraduate education.

A cross-departmental committee convened by the Dean of the School

of Arts and Sciences conducts the search. The tenure track appointment

will be made in a department most suitable to the candidate's expertise.
