Some time back, I received an email from someone (I forget who)

quoting some Gujarati booklet to the effect that there are 64 gotras

of RV Gujarati Brahmins, and of these, only 2 have Shankhayana as

their sutra. The rest have Asvalayana etc.

I have lost the reference to the book. Would any list member be able

to direct me to the correct reference?

 

Is there any book (even Gujarati book will do) which discusses the

sutras of YV Brahmins of Gujarat?
