Guest guest
Dear Indology Member: In response to the question about human sacrifice in early Hinduism - Katherine Young has mentioned this issue in her chapter on "Euthanasia" in a jointly authored work with Harold Coward and Julius Lipner. The work is called "Hindu Ethics". Her position seems to be that there is evidence for human sacrifices occurring in some of the early Vedic material. If you want more exact references, I can post them.
