Guest guest Posted February 10, 2002 Report Share Posted February 10, 2002 Dear list members, I have a copy of the NirNayasindhu with a Hindi translation by Vrajaratna Bhattacharya, from Chowkhamba Vidyabhawan, 1998. When I showed it to a Hindi speaking friend (first language Gujarati, second language Hindi) he said the Hindi was so archaic he had great difficulty following it. Can anyone tell me how old the Hindi translation by Vrajaratna Bhattacharya is, and if there is anything unusual about the dialect of Hindi used. The title page simply says "Edited with Hindi Translation by M.M. Vrajaratna Bhattacharya". Many thanks, Harry Spier 371 Brickman Rd.
