Guest guest
In fact, there was a cover story on this 'sensational' discovery with viewpoints from several eminent archaeologists in the 'India Today'. The fact of the matter is that if the discoverers are making such extra-ordinary claims about the antiquity of the site, they need to produce evidence that has at least some modicum of credibility. The ASI itself has now rejected the findings. Citing Hancock to prove the antiquity of the Khambat site merely robs the claims of credibility even further. The hyped claims may therefore be safely rejected in the present state of our information. Guest guest
in reply to witzel on graham hancock. what does it matter who can really know by speculation anyway? some scientist/liguist etc. say this... but really they will have to renew their theory next year or month depending on ambition and ego. What i've seen of the whole 'scientific' campaign is basically a spin on a spin on a spin. so much thet the next generation has no idea of what there talking about. much like the proganda campaign of world war II where it began with so much lies passed off as truth. Our poor modern western origin supporting scholars are likewise victims of the same tactics. they actually have no idea how bias and prejudice they are . but must certainly fall into these categories due to the very fact that the very fields of study were based and formed on these prejudices. Everyone knows of the nazi anthroplogy and british schemology but these types seem to remain oblivious its as if they were born to lead an erroneous egotistic life never having the ability to question. However I will give credit to their tenacity for ignorance. Perhaps once thy should really read into the meaning of vedic wisdom and not around with intent to conquer as their predecessors. It seems if anyone has ever really studied the vedas they would come to the conclusion that conditioned senses are imperfect and gauranteed to make mistake be illusioned and cheat. As Maharaj yuddhisthira answers Yamaraj in the mahabharat that "ignorance covers the world." Of course as modern and great thinkers weve practically created the universe and God in our image everything else must naturally follow suit. regardless of what we know we really dont know or cant know precisly by such methods used mostly to subjugate the unconcious and ignorant. good luck on living and dying with such a crisis. and thanks for contributing to the problem. p.s. it may sound silly or unscientific but for all most of us can gather sir Graham hancock may very well prove to be closer to said truth than the lot of loony scholars including pobrecito fundumento witzel.the real truth is..truth rarely matters today if at all, anyone who has ever had a slight gleaning of recent political history would know this . I am ever amazed how they seem to completely lose sight of this. perhaps the web of deceit and lies is all they will truly know and you cant ask a pig to give up its swill. B.
