Guest guest
Dear List Members, 1. Regarding Pampa Bharata, the following reference may be useful to some scholars: Ramachandra Rao B.(1972) :"A descriptive grammar of Pampa Bharata", Mysore University. This is a Ph.D. thesis which was submitted to Osmania University. 2. I have come to know that Kannada University, Hampi is going to publish "Dravida vyutpatti kosha", the translation of which is being prepared by K V Narayana. Can somebody tell, whether this is the translation of DED(1961) or DEDR(1984) ? 3. Is there any plan to publish the Hindi translation of Pampa Bharata ? 4. Can somebody give me email addresses of a few scholars well-versed in the grammars of ha.la-ganna.da, na.du-ganna.da and hosa-ganna.da ? 5. Is the Kannada-Nighantu, published by Kannada Sahitya Parishat, Bangalore, complete by now ? How many volumes ? As per the information in "Kannada nighantu shaastra"(1993) by Prof G Venkatasubbayya, the 7th Vol. was published by the end of 1991. Best regards.
