Guest guest
Dearest Professor, I shall work in my Italian translation independently at all, as usual. In His exquisite trust in my capacity, Professor Joshi has left to me the work: but surely, being He obviously a perfect Spanish(and Italian)-speaker, He will read the translation before the publication. (I work together other colleagues only when the translation - or the study - in in English.) This modern kaavya is a mahaakaavya in 9 sargas dealing the life and teachings of Pandit Rampratap Shastri, in the framework of Raadhaa-KRshNa bhakti, of which this guru is a great devotee. Many thanks for Your interest in my work - and above all in this splendid book, a great contribution to Sanskrit Literature. Sincerely Yours, Daniela Rossella ---------- >Da: phillip.ernest >A: INDOLOGY >Oggetto: Re: [Y-Indology] A Modern KAvya >Data: Mer, 13 mar 2002 2:05 > > > > On Tue, 12 Mar 2002, Daniela Rossella wrote: > >> I'm very glad to announce that the renowned Professor Rasik Vihari Joshi >> - >> one of my most beloved friends, thanks to His kindness - has granted to >> me >> the permission, and above all the honour, of translating into Italian His >> precious kAvya: the ShrIrAmapeatApacarita[mahAkAvya]. >> > > Dear Dr. Rossella: > > Will you be working closely with him on this translation, or quite > independently?
