I wrote my PhD. experimenting with statistical methods in connection with

Sanskrit myself, and in this connection I tried to track down anything

written on the subject of Sanskrit and statistics. I did not find anything

like the case you mention here. But I am not surprised that the result of

the experiment was positive. Given the right kind of data, and enough of

them, that is what you expect.
