Guest guest
Dear list members, There is a website at http://www.stg.brown.edu/projects/indexcard/displaycard.php3?card=12 for the American Committee for South Asian Manuscripts (ACSAM) . It says they are developing a prototype Union Descriptive Catalogue of South and West Asian manuscripts now in North American collections and developing a DTD for the descriptive bibliography of South Asian manuscripts. I saw this same website several years ago and at that time it had a prototype on-line catalogue interface which is no longer on their site. Does anyone now if they ever did develop a DTD for the descriptive bibliography of South Asian Manuscripts, and what the status of their on-line catalogue is. Many thanks, Harry Harry Spier 371 Brickman Rd.
