Rules pertaining to the usage of MSS

Here are the two books on US copyright law as it affects unpublished

mss. I presume at least you'll have the luck to be dealing with long

dead authors. Living ones can prevent the publication of their letters

even though they don't own the letters themselves and have no control

over who sees them.
