Guest guest
Dear friends, I am new to this group. I am joining it for a serious reason which may not exactly coinside with the group's goal. I am trying to seek explanations to my observations of reality, and thought the Hindu scriptures might be a good place to turn to. I do not know the language or the way around it, and am hopeful that this group will be of help to me. Today I have the following to you: ------------------------- Since 1998, the Global Consciousness Project (GCP) has been monitoring the outputs of up to 40 random number generators (RNGs) around the world. Each of these RNGs generates 200 bits of random data every second and sends them to a server at the GCP. The generators are based on physical devices considered fundamentally random, not merely deterministic computer algorithms. Preposterous though it may sound, significant deviations have been noted in the randomness of data from these RNGs around times of major events in the world. Roger Nelson, Director of the GCP, and Dean Radin at the Institute of Noetic Sciences and others have been analyzing data from the RNG network on and around September 11. Some preliminary analyses found striking anomalies, four of which are shown on http://www.boundaryinstitute.org/randomness.htm ------------------------ My questions to you: I understand that Indians were the original philosophers to develope the complex concepts of mathematics, and certain Hindu scriptures contain very useful mathematical explanations and solutions. Could any of it be of use to explain the observations indicated on the above site? I suppose the so called 'random' data are not truely random, and therefore, are able to vary with certain cause(s). Could someone point me to any such data that can be observed as indicator of catastrophies? Would you point me to a place where I may get these answers? Thanks and regards, Hank
