Guest guest
The URLs are excerpted from the Academic Inaugural Lecture I delivered at the World Association of Vedic Studiec Intl. Conference, held at UMass, Dartmouth on 12 July 2002. I owe a debt of gratitude to the late MS Vats, Prof. A. Sundara, Prof. JM Kenoyer, Prof. BB Lal and Michel Danino for some of the thoughts related to continuity of tradition mentioned in this 11-page illustrated monograph. It was a privilege indeed to present a perspective on Sarasvati Civilization, based on scientific investigations and the possibility of cracking the code to unravel the epigraphs as property possessions (furnaces, tools, ores/metals) and lapidary functions. http://www.hindunet.org/saraswati/tradition/mleccha01.htm http://www.hindunet.org/saraswati/tradition/sacred1.pdf (1.05 MB) Title: Archaeology and Tradition in Bha_rata: cracking the code of Mlecchita Vikalpa, cypher writing Bha_rati_ya tradition exemplifed by archaeology, is an astonishing continuity of tradition dating as far back as 6500 BCE, as authenticated by artefacts, texts and the day-to-day lives of the people from paleo-lithic to historical periods of Bha_rati_ya Civilization, a cultural time-horizon of over 8,500 years based on the cumulative discoveries over the last 80 years.
